Video Analysis Allows Access to Players All Over The World

For Video Analysis there two options:

Option 1 - On-Ice video taken during Private 1:1 Skills Development Sessions, use to allow players to see and visual their technical or tactical performance. The video will be annotated and send to the player following the end of the session.

Option 2 - Remote Video taken of you or your team and uploaded to our server to be analyzed and annotated by Coach Tait. Analysis is then followed with a video conference to discuss areas of strength and improvement including technical changes, tips and strategies.

SPECIALTY CLINICS

Private sessions are always dynamic and filled with challenge, learning, and feedback. There is nothing like a one-on-one private skills session to have a professional with the vision and understanding of the brain, body and hockey to pick up on the nuances of technical and tactical deficiencies to be exposed, changed or tweeked for guaranteed improved performance. Video analysis is a great add-on to aid the player and Coach Tait to see their skills live and reinforce successes and areas of improvement. Private sessions start with an interview with Coach Tait, the development session with lots of feedback, and post-session de-briefing.

Want to score more goals? Get more points? Without a doubt, teaching technical and tactical shooting is Coach Tait's biggest strength. At the NHL level, most of his clients hire him for shooting sessions. His technical shooting method is used for all age and skill levels and is comprehensive, but easy to be understand. He names each element and teaches the movement patterns, of the stick, puck, skates, body and head. Then he used cue words to allow players to know exactly what area of the performed skill his feedback is intended for. Shooting is probably the most important skill to learn and never taught. Learning early on with technically perfect repetitive movement patterns is paramount as players shoot thousands of pucks over their careers and due to sheer repetition, if the player is not taught properly, they will be teaching themselves terrible habits that will require more time to undo.

Small Group Sessions are a way for players to work together with Coach Tait and other players of equal, better, or lower skill level. Some players don't like working with other players better or not as good as them. But during our group sessions, skills and drills are broken down into small manageable components for easy comprehension. The intention for each drill and which skills the drills challenge are always explained thoroughly. The players are taught to watch each player's repetition to see success or failure and understand the feedback necessary. So watching better or less skilled players becomes beneficial to every player. This allows them to perform their own repetition more closely to perfect. Coach Tait always says he teaches his players so complete they can teach the skills and many do. They become instructors themselves.
